Publisher 2000 business card setup

What are the settings in 2000 for a business card 3.66" by 2.13" so that the
card will fill the screen when it is converted to a pdf? I can created a
single image of those dimensions in the center of a letter size sheet but if
I try to download that into Overnight Prints website it will not work. The
PDF image has to fill the screen in Adobe Reader 6.0 for it to work.

You need to setup a custom size in Acrobat. If you have used the *Special Size*
in page setup...

In Publisher, File, Print Setup, select Adobe PDF, Properties, click Add. Type
3.66 Width, 2.13 height. Give this custom setting a name. When you are ready to
print use this custom size.

Geez Mary, I hate to keep bugging you. Overnight prints would not upload my
business card file because they wanted that larger size. I managed to get to
a single image but I do not have an Adobe PDF printer because I do not have
Adobe Pro. I have Adobe 6.0.4. I have been trying to convert using a program
called Deskpdf but there are 50 or so size codes and I have no idea which to
use. In page set up I have the card at 3.6 x 2.3 inches using custom size,
setting it is just the background page size in the preview window that is
driving me nuts.

If I remember correctly, Acrobat 6 had custom sizes...

Are you using the same card as before? I still have it, do you want me to send
you the PDF of the new size? Is the Bodoni Poster Italic in the correct
position?

Mary,
Overnight just sent me an email saying they stretched the image to make it
work. You did reverse the fonts but that is no big deal, I went with it the
way it was.
What is the difference between Acrobat and Adobe, aren't they one in the
same? I can size the business card exactly but when I go to print setting I
don't have an Adobe Print choice under printers, just my HP812,
Netitnow(whatever that is) deskpdf (which I downloaded from the net) and
paperport. DeskPDF will convert it but the background is two large. I've
got it down to about 4"by 4" but there are about 50 codes to choose from.
Thanks for all you have done. Les

Adobe is a software company. Acrobat is a product made by Adobe that
produces PDF files. (Adobe Acrobat Reader, now simply called Adobe
Reader, is a viewer for PDF files.)

Thanks Ed,
I believe I have Acrobat somewhere in this computer. I have never tried to
use it because I had no idea what it was. They Adobe throws that name around
with Adobe and Reader and I did not know Acrobat makes PDF files ( I assume
it converts Publisher files to PDF which is what I am trying to do. Les
