Publisher 2000 page control bar has disappeared

Apologies if this is a duplicate post.

Re: Microsoft Publisher 2000: When I opened an 18-page document that I'd
been working on for days, the page control bar was missing. I opened several
other multiple-page documents and there was no page control bar on them
either. I rebooted and tried again with the same results. I can get from page
to page using the View menu, but that's tedious.

How can I restore my page controls?

You bet it's a duplicate post. This question is asked and answered at
least once a week. What\s your excuse for not STFW? Google Groups has
posts going back 25 *YEARS*.

Which they are slowly deleting.

your excuse for not STFW? Google Groups has posts going back 25 *YEARS*. <<

And at last count, there are 458 entries for "STFW? Google Groups"
Google must be running behind, because you've posted about that many
times in the last month.

Geez, Sarah, do you really think people are going to change and suddenly
start using Google Groups just because you attempt to berate them?

I'm beginning to wonder why you (in your small, immature mind) think
this ng even exist when most of your postings do nothing but belittle
the OP and ask them why they didn't first STFW?
Do you think there is a need for an ms pub ng? Maybe you think (a real
stretch on your part), that this ng should automatically redirect all
inquires to your favorite search engine, google? Is that what you're
after? Is that what you want?
Well maybe this ng actually serves a real and helpful purpose for most
people and it's you, who is the problem.
Yeah...I think...and I think most persons who frequent this ng would
agree, that you are the real problem.
My advice, get lost.
Go get a real life. Leave this ng and it's posters alone.
You are not wanted or even needed in this ng.
Got it!

Sarah's really a nice girl, but she is trying to fill David A.'s shoes
and she really doesn't have big enough feet. Some day she will learn
about honey and vinegar.
