Publisher 2000 - Text Box Fonts

Does anyone know how to permanently set the font of a
publisher text box to Arial 11?

Whenever I create a new Publisher document and enter a
text box it comes out as Times New Roman 10.

I can set it so that it changes to Arial 11 (when I'm
creating the first text box or via styles), but it's a
pain to have to keep doing this within every new document.

Please help - this is driving me nuts!!

As far as I know there is not an option to just set in Publisher by default.
However you can workaround it by creating a custom template, and use this
template to create your documents.

My workaround for this problem in Pub02 is to format a text box the way you
want it, then make a copy and park it it the scratch area.
Any time you want to open a text box with that formatting just Rclick the
box in the scratch area Click copy, then on your page do a paste and there's
your formatted box ready for resizing and text input, works for me
