Publisher 2002 crashes on save

S

Sandefur

Whenever I try to save a project in Pub 2002, I get an
error message saying the program has to close. I lose
all my work! I have tried expanding my memory (a
little). Please help. I'm working on party invitations
and they need to get out pronto!!

Thanks

Does this happen if you run your computer in Safe Mode?

I have not tried to access the program when in Safe

Go to the website of your video card manufacturer and download and install
the latest version of the video driver and install that.

It should cure your problem.

You would also be advised to delete your c:\Windows\Temp folder and any
sub-folders and do a reboot and then a Defrag.

Thanks!

Do you have the updates installed for Publisher 2002 from the Microsoft
Office website?

The issue you describe is an extremely unusual problem and certainly not one
that has reared its head more than once.

Updates

-- The only updates I have found are for Office XP. I
don't have Office XP and can't install the updates. I
have installed the Publisher separately. Is there
somewhere else I should be looking?

Thanks

The Office XP updates I posted for you will
only install the pertinent files.

Here's another possibility:
