Publisher 2003 should be fixed to accept previous versions data.

Pages with pictures on them that worked just fine in Office 2000 versions are
distorted when opened in Publisher 2003...is there a fix yet as I am aware
this has been reported before?

Distorted how? How do they print? Can you adjust the images? Previous versions
of Publisher did not compress pictures, creating sometimes huge files. Do you
have the original images, can you reinsert them?

In addiiton to Mary's response, have you checked the settings under View >
Pictures?

There is no need to fix Publisher to accept files from previous versions, as
it already does perfectly (unless you go all the way back to Publisher 1.0,
and there's little hope of getting support for that)

Mary,
Hi! This is the same issue I had back in August that you responded to and
fixed a file I sent to you. Still have same problem and have many, many
files with pics. Will try Ed Bennetts suggestion herein but so far have not
been able to get good images. Will try later tonight or in the am. Thanks
again.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried the View/Pictures but that did not have any
effect on the pictures that were distorted. Any other ideas...these files
were from Publisher 98 and Office 2000 and worked just great there. Thanks.
