Publisher 2003 typing a paragraph last line looks double spaced

When typing a paragraph I made a textbox why does the last line always look
like it is double spaced.
This never happened to me before. I have two textboxes next to one another.
When I type a line it is fine goes ss to the next line. When I go to make a
new paragraph why does the last line of the paragraph look like the line is
double spaced. Even when i print it out it looks like there is more then one
space at the end of the paragraph.
I need help as soon as possible I am a trainer and doing a 6 page
publication newsletter. Also this was not a template this was my own from
scratch.

Thank you

Because you have paragraph spacing turned on?

Format > Paragraph.

After that last character is typed in, add a couple of tabs or carriage
returns to the line. This works with the last line being expanded when the
text is justified. It might also work for double spacing.
