Publisher 98, 2003 and Adobe

I have created a document on 98, but need it converting to pdf. When I send
it to a friend (who has Adobe and Publisher 2003) all the formatting changes
when he opens it in Publisher 2003 prior to printing it to Adobe. The font
(Rockwell 12) appears larger and stuff doesn't now fit in, pages overspill
etc.

So how can my friend open the file exactly as I saved it?

Something that I felt pleased with is now really bugging me!

Thanks
Andy

You are going to lose formatting converting a 98 file to 2003. It could help to use
default fonts such as Times or Arial. Rockwell shipped with Publisher 98 but not with
Publisher 2003, maybe a substitute font is being used when your friend opens the
file.

WordArt in 98 is not the same as the WordArt in 2003.

Thanks Mary

So...how can my buddy install a new font to Publisher? Or am I doomed to
boring fonts?

Is this all you ever post? Perhaps the context (mentioning pdf before Adobe)
was enough to banish ambiguity for all but the biggest pedants in the world

What an exciting life scouring messageboards to tell people they're using
the wrong word!

Toodle oo

Oh and your joke's rubbish too!!

Send your friend the Rockwell font... or any of the other fonts you are using and he
doesn't have on his system.

Erm... no, as almost ALL Adobe products come with some ability to export to
PDF or another.

Install the Adobe Generic PostScript Driver from www.adobe.com, and print to
a file using that, to create a .ps file. Give this file to your friend to
run through Adobe Distiller, which will output a PDF.

What other Adobe product will let you print a Publisher 2003 file to PDF
besides Acrobat?
