header problems when converting to Adobe

I have produced a catalog in Publisher 2003. I created a header/footer and
placed a section break between the cover page and the rest of the document.
In publisher, the header/footer does not show up on my cover, only on the
rest of the document.

When I convert it to Adobe Acrobat (pdf), the header shows up on the cover
page.

What's up with that??????

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't create header/footer. Just insert the page numbers, uncheck >>Show page
number on first page<<.
