publisher business card printing problem

R

raydon

my business card printing setting is to avery 5371/8371. one time the cards
print correctly, but most times it is as if the program ignores the top
indent; the cards begin printing at the top of the page without the indent.
the horizontal spacing is always printed correctly, but not the vertical.
please help.

You are experiencing printer problems, not Publisher problems. Go to the
manufacturer's web site of your model printer and check for an updated driver.

It is always advisable to completely remove your printer driver before you
install/reinstall.

mary, i have done that also, and i just purchased a newer computer and have checked for updated drivers for the printer as well as the program. this problem existed before the new computer, and continues to exist; though the settings are correct in publisher. it sometimes prints the alignment properly on my business card sheet, but not the next time.

If you suspect it isn't your printer driver then it is the way you are feeding
your stock.

Think about re-installing your printer driver.
