Publisher e-newsletter mail merge?

1) I have built my e-newsletter in publisher 2003 (html format).

2) I have an excel database containing approx 1500 emails and corresponding
names.

3) I have the MS Office Small Business Edition 2003 + MS Works 8 + MS
Business Contact Manager installed.

What is the best way to send my e-newsletter to my database of 1500 people?
I do not want the list of all the recipients to display in the emails...so
appear as though it was sent only to one recipient. Secondly I would like to
minimize my email being caught in spam filters. Do I have any options?

Probably 90% of your recipients will have HTML disabled. You can use the BBC
option in Outlook, read the help.
What you are trying to do is nigh on impossible in Publisher, Publisher will
only send the first page.
A PDF is a better solution.

Or even the BCC option )

Or use a package designed for sending bulk mail.

Thank you Mary.
Good news my newsletter is a one pager.

As you say many recipients will have html disabled. How can I insert a
hyperlink "if you are having problems viewing this email click here", and
direct it to my newsletter on my website? Thanks again...Chris

Why not send a message with the link to your newsletter? If it is available on
your web site why go through the hassle of trying to send a HTML message? I
suppose you could put the link in the subject line.
Have you sent the newsletter to yourself? Disable receiving HTML, send the
newsletter. You will see in the body of the email your text and all the images
will be attachments. Even if you include the hyperlink it will not be
highlighted.

Acrobat will show hyperlinks in a PDF.
