Support for Enterprise version of Office must come from either your
company's IT department or Microsoft directly. If this is a Home Use
Program install then you have been given a telephone number to call for free
support from Microsoft.

If you purchased this as a download or with a disk from any source other
than through your employer or Microsoft (Digital River) then this is a
pirated version of software and that is the reason most on this NG are so
strict as to not help those that have Enterprise issues.

Perhaps change the file association again. Go to your Control Panel > Folder
Options > File Types and find the *.pub extension and select it. Change >
Open with > Publisher and tick the "always use the selected program to open
this kind of file". You might check Word association with .doc while you are
there...

You might also try the "restore" button on the File Types tab.

And perhaps under Publisher > Help > Office Diagnostics. Repair your
installation.
