publisher screen pulsing

my publisher file won't stop flashing or pulsing and its driving me crazy!
is it because my files is too large?

Wouldn't think large files would cause pulsating. How current is your video driver?
Do you have high contrast enabled in the accessibility options?

i'm not too savy when it comes to publisher so i'm not sure how current my
video driver is...how do i find out?
i also am not sure about the high contrast...how would i check if i have
that enabled?

To find out if your video driver needs upgrading, do this:

In the Control Panel, open the Display folder, select the Settings tab (this screen
has the name of your graphics card), click the Advanced button, select the
Troubleshooting tab. There is an acceleration slide on this page, slide it down a
couple of notches. After you do this, check your Publisher document to see if the
pulsating has stopped.

If your issue is solved go to the manufacturer's web site of your graphics card and
look around for an updated driver.

About the high contrast:
In the Control Panel, open the Accessibility Options folder, select the Display tab,
clear the Use High Contrast box.
