Using the font PresentScript-thin the word 'Stichworten' is being hyphenated
in a peculiar way and with insertion of a paragraph mark. This applies only
to the above mentioned font. Same phenomenon in another phrase with the word
'wurden'. What can I do, is using another font the only solution of the
problem?

I went out and found this font, installed it and used your words over and over and
did not have your problem. The font may be corrupted, uninstall it and re-install.
That may solve your issue.

Did you try it in Publisher 2003? The problem does not occur in Word 2003.
Also re-installing the font did not work. My font size was 18.

You are correct, when I increased the font to 18 the Stichworten word separated. It
separated in Corel as well.
I guess you will have to find a substitute font. This one certainly isn't suitable
for much... There are look alike fonts, post a sample in alt.binaries.fonts, someone
may help.
