Publisher XP – cuts off edge when printing

I have created a publication, paper size A6. All four margin guides are set
to 0.5cm. There is a rectangle 0.5cm from the edges i.e. it fills the space
between the margin guides. It is filled with colour.
When I go into Print Preview the left hand edge of the design is missing and
the publication also prints like that.
I am using Publisher XP
What can I do to correct the problem?

I suspect this is a margin limitation of your printer. I can do your setup, but
I'm missing the right margin.

Publisher XP is Publisher 2002. One version was bundled with a Office XP suite.

Publisher XP? Is this a Microsoft product?

A common misnomer for Publisher 2002. Office products that were included
with Office XP were officially known by the version name 2002, but the
differing version names for the suite and the individual products was
just too much to comprehend for most users.
