I was wondering when working with a large publication that is alreay saved,
how would you separate or divide pages, so that you can email sections of the
publication, at a time, without re-inventing the publication. My publication
is 28,xxx, and I cannot email to another office to edit, etc.

Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know how I would handle it but if you don't have Acrobat (not just the
free Reader), my method won't help you. Or you could do something similar if
you have any .pdf creating software.

If you have a PDF type program, print only pages you want to send. They would
have to be consecutive.
There are free converters around. http://www.primopdf.com/ is one.The files
can't be edited.

If your recipients have Publisher you will have to divide the publication
manually. Best way would be to open your saved file, delete pages, resave with a
new name. Open the saved document again and repeat...

JoAnn:

You make sense, so in other words, I could use my Acrobate like I am going
to turn the publication into a pdf file, and do so many pages at a time,
save, etc. etc.

I just have to make sure that the person(s) I am email it too has Acrobat,
right?

thanks

I'm going to repeat myself a bit just to make sure you understand. If you
have the full, paid-for version of Acrobat, you can "print" a range of pages
with the Acrobat distiller and email those. Almost everyone has the free
Reader to read the files. (I say *almost* because the last place I worked
did not have Reader installed on all of the work computers.)
