Publisher's catalogue options

How do I return to Publisher's catalogue opening options to choose a
different design after I select one of the publications to view?
When I don't want to choose that design, I must close down Publisher to
return to the catalogue. This doesn't seem right.

In the catalogue task pane, click "Publication Designs." Or file, new... you wouldn't
have to close Publisher. In Publisher 2000, click "Design" in the task pane

Mary's information takes me to a blank document which I then can design. It
does not, however, take me back to the catalogue options of already designed
brochures, newsletters etc. This is what I want to get back to - the opening
page of designed publications from which I can choose one already designed
that suits my need.

When you select Catalogue in the publications for print, do you have the task pane?
Are you saying when you click "Publication Designs" the "Apply a design" does not
appear?
When you setup Publisher did you select "run all from my computer?"

Do a "detect and repair" under help.
