Page Content Layouts

I'm new to Publisher 2003. I've created a catalogue using a catalogue merge
including pictures for each item. I want 3 items to display on each page,
but instead of having all three line up vertically on the page, I would like
to have the pictures alternate on the page, top one - picture on the left,
middle one - picture on the right, bottom one - picture on the left again. I
would prefer to not change the layout after completing the catalogue merge,
but rather before. Any ideas?
Thanks!

What have you tried so far?

If you position and re-size the picture fields in the catalogue merge they
shouldn't move. The catalogue merge has a tendency to place the picture inline,
if this is the case with your merge, right-click the image, click format
picture, Layout tab, change the Object Position to Exact.

Catalogue merges are much easier to control if the data base and the images are
in the same folder. You don't need to type the complete path in the cell, just
the image name, for example doggie.jpg instead of
C:\Users\KMoody\Pictures\doggie.jpg
