Publishing to multiple Sharepoint Libraries

I have a directory structure in Sharepoint Form Library (WSS 3.0, InfoPath
2007), with a path that looks like this
EE Forms
EE Forms\EE1
EE Forms\EE2
EE Forms\EE3
Can I publish a different template to each of the separate lower folders or
do they automatically take on the template from higher level folder?

On the same note: I copied template1.xsn to template2.xsn, made some minor
changes to to template2.xsn. When I did that, ... template1.xsn that was
published to the EE1 library above, had those same changes the next time I
opened the form in the form library. Why is that?

Thanks in advance

Okay, well I may have answered my own questions, but would like someone more
savvy than I to verify if they have the time.
It appears that the form template is related to the folder and all folders
under it. So If I wanted one link on the quick launch that opens a folder of
folders, those folders can't have a separate template.

And I found that if I open an existing template, and then Save As, it will
behave as a separate template, unlike if I just copy the file to a new name.

And I just had a duh moment, and realized that a form library is meant to be
used when you want multiple instances of the form saved within that folder.
Like what you would use an Expense form for.... buy my need is different... I
only want one instance of the form where multiple people are going to in and
edit their part. I just realized you can upload the form to a document
library (not a form library) and that's exactly what you'd get. Now I can
have a folder (document library) that contains multiple links to
documents...each is a form that I want to open one instance of .

Is this the right way to do this? I know I could use Word to create a form I
suppose, but I like the easy way I can capture the data in a list behind the
form in Sharepoint, and various other features that come with InfoPath.
