Pulling data from WSS via Excel

Nock

Hi, when I import data from WSS via Excel's Import External Data>Data
Retrieval Services>WSS, all the free text based fields have HTML tags
throughout. Given that I'm pulling out large amounts of data for reporting
purposes, how best can I remove these references? Is there another or better
way to extract the project related information? ie. Issues, risks, Work
Status etc?

Thanks in advance,

Nock

Hi,

Last time I did this I created Views in SQL Server that showed what I
wanted, then Imported directly into Excel. I used Replace commands in VBA
to remove the html tags.
