purchase powerpoint

I have office 2003 with MS Office Basic. I need to purchase power point. To
purchase on line is this considered an upgrade with upgrade pricing. Any
suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Unfortunately, adding PPT to Office Basic is not considered an Upgrade.
Rather, it's what you'd call a "cross-grade."

The upshot is, unless you have some product that qualifies you to use the
PPT Upgrade, you will need to purchase the full standalone version of PPT.
