Hi everybody,
I have the following problem. I'm using Mail Merge (with directory
type) to generate a text with information extracted from Access. With
this idea, I generate several (different) combined documents.
Now I want to put all these documents together in a certain order. For
that, I create a new Word document and I include links to the sub-
documents (Insert->Object->Create from File->Insert as a link). With
"small" documents, this works fine. However, if the sub-document that
I want to insert occupies more than 1 page... it's like only the first
page is inserted. I think the problem is that the inserted document is
considered as an object, and an object cannot span several pages.
So... what am I doing wrong? I think there is some easy way to solve
this, but I cannot find it... Please, if you have some idea I'd be
very grateful. Maybe I'm just missing some small detail...
Thanks in advance!
Sergio
P.S. I include as a link to get the composed document automatically
updated if the original sub-documents change.
