How can I fix it so that a group like Team Members can not play with the Site
Action, Site Settings buttons/ tabs, etc., within, for instance, My Tasks
and end up modifying the Shared web parts/ pages and messing things up?

Sprio ,

What you want to do is a lot of work

1. You have to disable the automatic syncronisation of permissions
between pwa and sharepoint.
2. In sharepoint you have to modify the template to disable the modify
functionality and whate ever else is required.
3. Import your template using the stsadm command
4. Republish your projects

Hope this helps

Would you describe for me in more detail, steps 1, 2 and 3. Ie., how/ where
would I go disable to disable auto sync; where would I go to disable, and
import the templates?

What did you mean in #2 when you said "whate ever else is required"? Will
this be something obvious for me to decide and select when accessing the
templates?

Thank you,
/Spiro Theopulos
