PWA Formating

Suz Slade

Hi.

Within PWA I would like to amend a small amount of the formatting, for
example adding in a company logo.

Does the setting in PWA have to be the default (No theme), or is it possible
to change this? How would I go about this as I can't seem to find the
settings at present within Admin.

Thanks for any help

Hi Suz --

The graphic on the right side of the PWA Home page can be replaced with
a company logo quite easily... without modifying any source code.
Simply locate the following file on the Project Server:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003\IIS Virtual
Root\IMAGES\HOMEPAGE.gif

Once you've located the file, rename it (i.e. homepage-OLD.gif), then
copy a new image file (i.e. company logo) into the same directory and
give it the HOMEPAGE.gif name. When you return to PWA and refresh the
Home page, you should see the new image.

NOTE: this image only appears on the PWA Home page. If you would like
to replace the "Microsoft Office Project Web Access" logo image which
resides in the upper left corner of every PWA page, simply replace the
BRANDING.gif file with your own image file, using a process similar to
the one outlined for HOMEPAGE gif (above).

Good luck!
