PWA Login - Error (5002)

W

Walter

I installed the Project Server 2003 sample database on my
server running Small Business Server 2003. I can't login
to the sample database using Project Web Access with any
of the defined users (Steve Masters / pass@word1). The
message that I receive is 'You have entered an incorrect
user name/password combination. (5002)'.

I can login to PWA using Administrator/pass@word1 and I
can see all the sample projects (on the server and on a
client box).

I used the sample database configuration wizard. I did
not perform the Sharepoint configuration.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Walter

Walter:

Steve Masters is setup as Windows Auth. Therefore, you need first logon to
your computer as Steve Masters. If you're on a domain, then you need a
domain account for Steve Masters.

Gary,

Steve Masters is a member of Domain Users and Domain
Admins.

I am logging into the computer as Steve Masters
successfully using the pass@word1 password.

If you have any other suggestions, you can reach me at

Thanks,

I checked the login user name account - I entered the
servername\username and not the domainname\username. I
corrected the login user name account to be the
domainname\username and it works great!!!
