Almost
You don't publish to local host, you open the FP web at localhost and create / run your ASP pages and DB there
| Hi Ron
| I don't think I am explaining myself well on this so I will try again. I am
| not trying to host a web site. I am just a plain old guy with Windows XP and
| I have a web page hosted on a linux server. The linux server I am hosted on
| requires that I use PHP and mySql to create a database.
|
| It was my thought to use my XP Pro machine as my own personal web server
| where I could experiment with ASP and the Front Page method of creating
| databases. I wanted to be able to go into Front Page and create a web, the
| database etc; and then publish it to
http://localhost. Is this possible or
| not? That is my question.
