Q: How to display summary tasks and hide subtasks on Gantt chart while grouping

Here's the situation... I have a gantt chart with summary tasks and
subtasks. I want to hide the subtasks, but roll them up to the summary task
line, so that multiple segments appear indicating each subtask. I got this
to work, but then, if a group is applied, the summary task go away and all
the subtasks reappear.

Question is: how can I show only the summary tasks (with rolled up subtask
info) while in a group mode?

Try editing the group (Project, Grouping, More Groups and selecting Show
Summary Tasks if it's not already selected.

Hmm, but when I do that, the subtasks still appear. They cannot be collapsed
when you select the "Show Summary Tasks" option.
