Query on RISK & ISSUE in PWA 2003

Hi all

I'm using PWA & Project Server 2003 and have some query on RISk & ISSUE in
Project Web Access 2003

1.) In Risk tab --> Column name ASSIGN TO is lookup and we select only one
resource at a time. Is it possible that we select multiple resource for
assigning at a time.
2.) Column description can be visible same for all risk & Issues or new
created / edited Risk issues.
3.) Is it possible that in Risk --> CLOSE DATE field should be linked with
STATUS filed and when Risk status become “Closed†then Close Date
automatically entered the date on which risk is closed?
4.) How to take print out of existing Risk or Issue from PWA 2003. The only
method is to “export to spreadsheet†then change the layout in excel and take
a printout. Any other method?
5.) In PWA 2003 existing Issue can be automatically shifted in Risk tab
after over of due date.

As I already search on different forums of Microsoft and books, but unable
to find out any solution from them. Please do needful.

Nope, Just one person to be assigned.
2.) Column description can be visible same for all risk & Issues or new

I assume you mean the column to be available in the list views. You can add
them when you go to list settings and then modify the views you need.
3.) Is it possible that in Risk --> CLOSE DATE field should be linked with

No, this could be a nice addition, but not availble at the moment.
4.) How to take print out of existing Risk or Issue from PWA 2003. The only

Mentioned method is easiest and cheapest. A different solution would be
creating reporting services report with the layout you need.
5.) In PWA 2003 existing Issue can be automatically shifted in Risk tab
after over of due date.
Not possible, creating a view for overdue issues is a way to check, but no
automatic alerting this way.

Dear Sander

Thanks for your reply.
I have some query regarding these points

Point No 2.
My purpose to display field description (Help which shows in Grey text when
we edit some value in field at below of that field) at all risks & issues but
not to show as list form.

Hi Nitesh,

I hope you given the description content by doing below steps"

Click on Risks link from left menu -> Click on "Modify Settings and
Columns" from left menu under Actions -> Click on Description under
Columns -> Type the required description content under Description ->
Click OK

Description text will be showup whenver you are creating the new Risk
item OR editing the current Risk item

Please remember, Description text will only show up in the Standard
view (web form). But if you are using Datasheet view to create/edit
the risks, description text will not be appear.

Thanks
Chak

Thank you Mr Chak for reply.

I have done as per your inputs but its not shown in all risk.Because "Modify
setting and cloumn" option appears when we click on some selected project
work space. Is there any method to reflect changes on fileds to all risk &
Issues.

Nitesh,

Understood your concern.

FYI: There is no way you can apply the changes on existing sites on
the Issues/Risks in centralized manner. You have to do manually on
each and every site.

The good thing is, you can show the description text on newly created
sites by using custom project workspace. Use on of your existing site
as template and deploy it on Project Server machine using stsadm
utility. By doing this, new workspace template will be available under
Site Provisioning Settings under PWA -> Manage Windows SharePoint
Services. By using this workspace template, you can create all the new
sites, all those sites will populate description text automatically.

FYI: Use the scenario 2 on this URL content:
