Hi,
I am not a great website designer but have recently published a site for
kids about Tourette's Syndrome. It works fine on most people's PCs but I
have heard from several people that have ActiveX scripting blocked that it
won't work on their machines but they could acess it before I added sound.
I guess I didn't realize some people were so touchy about allowing ActiveX
to run on their computers. Plus, I guess there is also a problem with a
lawsuit with Microsoft and another company that has created some other
ActiveX problems. There is supposed to be a patch but I have heard it isn't
always working. So the short question is.... Is there a way to get the
sound to play when you click on an area of the picture without using ActiveX
(FP_playsound) or should I not worry about the people who can't use it. The
address is tskids4.tripod.com/TS2.htm. Warning: I am using Tripod as a
web-hosting site and there are a lot of pop-ups. I guess thats what you get
for doing public service stuff and being cheap
Thanks so much in advance for the help!
