Question regarding using Office 2000 & Outlook 2003

Just had to rebuild my CEO's PC after a fatal hard drive crash. Loaded
a fresh hard drive with Win2K sp4 and Office 2000 without Outlook; he
prefers Outlook 2003 which I have as a separate program.

After both installed, I see that in the start menu-new office document
general tab all the icons/links had disappeared (i.e. "blank document"
"blank workbook" "email message" etc.). I was able to manually install
a link to the "blank document" and have it reappear, but I don't know
where the links are in the system for the others. I will try on Monday
a "detect and repair" using Office 2000 to see if it restores them,
but if not, anyone have a suggestion as to how to get all those icons
back in the general tab? I'm not sure if losing them was due to
Outlook 2003's install or its own sp update. Thoughts on this
welcomed.

TIA
