Since a couple of weeks ago, some email messages retrieved by Outlook
have been disappearing--seemingly at random. These messages have
nothing in common--some are spam, some are legitimate (these are the
ones I'm upset about losing). I've checked the Rules list, and there
was nothing in there that would explain these deletions. I've even
eliminated all the Rules, but the deletions still occur, again,
apparently at random. And it's not that the messages are not
retreived from the server; I've seen the message arrive in the Inbox,
then it disappears and shows up in the Deleted Items list. These same
messages are retrieved and displayed properly by Outlook Express, and
they're not deleted. I would like to use Outlook for email, but these
random deletions make it impossible. I've had the computer scanned
with the most up-to-date Norton AntiVirus Corporate Editon and no
virus is reported. (BTW, my Outlook Express does not obey the
instruction to Block Sender--but that's another story...)
Any ideas?
