RBS vs Enterprise Resource Outline Codes

What is the benefit using the RBS field instead of
using the other Resource Outline lines codes to pre-filter
your resource pool.

Microsoft indicated that you can use the RBS fields
as part of the security set up for the groups. That
this function is in a new QIF?

Has anyone seen this?

The RBS field is a special Resource Outline Code field that is used in the
Microsoft Project Security Model. The values for each resource in the RBS
field work in conjunction with Categories such as "My Organization" or "My
Projects" to determine which resources a project manager can see in the Team
Builder Wizard dialog box and in the Resources section of Project Web
Access. Essentially, the RBS field should be built to show the "org chart"
for your company, with each resource placed in their proper position in the
org chart. The RBS field is a powerful feature of Microsoft Project 2002
and Project Server, and I commend it to you. Hope this helps.
