Re-Run Subform Query code

I do value the work ya'll do, what, fielding my dim questions . .
The first form simply accepts new records in a table. The second form has a subform based on a query that includes that aforesaid table. What would be the instruction to have the subform's query run again without me having to close the form and re-open it? Maybe I could send that instruction from the data entry form, or maybe the second form could hear of the new record entry? Or, just a ctlButton on the second form, would be good

Jim,

The access control wizard will create a form refresh button
for you, that is the first thing I'd try. If that works
erratically or you have problems with it then you're
probably into refreshing or requerying the form from an
appropriate event on your new data form.

Good luck
