read email file in both Outlook & Outlook Express

Hi,

I've created a '.eml' file, which Outlook Express can
read.

Is there any way that I can configure MS Outlook to read
that same file? I realize that Outlook's format is
the '.msg' file, but I don't think I'm going to be able to
create an msg file easily, since I'm creating this on a
java platform which doesn't have access to the Outlook
object. I'm using Outlook 2002.

No. Outlook can't read .eml files, but OE is required for Outlook, so it
should still open on an Outlook system.
