Read emails to vanish automatically

I recently upgraded to Office 2003. In previous Outlook versions I had my
view configured to display only unread messages: when I marked a message
read it would disappear from the screen. In Outlook 2003 I have set up the
filter to show only unread messages, but after reading a message it remains
displayed until I hit F5 to refresh. Can I get it to behave as it did
before?
