Read Me capability for a PowerPoint Presentation

I've created a marketing PP presentation that I want to send to various
individuals who may or may not have PowerPoint software installed on their
computer. Is there a way to incorporate a "Read Me" file for my PowerPoint
presentation?

Mary,

Are you emailing it...or am I assuming too much?
- You could simply attached a simple readme.txt file

It's on a CD?
- Why not write the readme as the 1st few slides in the powerpoint presentation?
- Why not make it autorun (even for people without powerpoint) ?
