Hello everyone.
I have a question. I know it is possible to make a database read only
with NTFS permissions so that regular users can not change data and I
understand, if I am correct, that in order for someone with change
permissions to make changes, all regular users have to be out of the
database. Furthermore, if a change user is in the database, a regular
will be locked out.
Question, can ASP still access the database to retrieve information
if the database is protected in this manner, with NTFS persmissions
assigned on the file level.
thanks
