Reading Archive files.

I have successfuly archived files/folders (.pst) to a
backup folder I created on the same desk top machine. Do
I have to import the files back into Outlook to read them
or can I read them from the created backup file. If I
can read them from the created folder how do I set this
up (detailed instructions.

You can open the pst-files from within Outlook by using File-> Open->
Outlook Data File. Make sure you have read/write access on the file and that
the file property is not set to "Read Only".
