Reading RTF file into Body of Email

With Outlook 2000 I was able to use automation, via Access
2000, to create an email from an RTF file. My code would
read the RTF file character by character, and make this
the "body of the email." All formatting showed up great
and there was no need for an attachment.

Now with Outlook 2002, the email displays gibberish and it
is not interpreting the RTF information. I now have to
send my report as an attachment which is quite a pain for
people who recieve it.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can send RTF formatted
text as the body of an email message?
