"Received" - change properties

Is there a way of changing the properties of received such that it only has
the Day & Date rather than time as well

Or is there an alternative method of being able to group by just the date an
email is received

Outlook always puts the time into the field. With VBA you could create a
custom field, extract just the date and store that in the new field.
