receiving emails in Outlook 2007

Hi all,
I am using a works laptop that has recently been upgraded to Outlook 2007.
On th previous version of Outlook my wife and I had different 'alias' email
accounts which made it easier to set up rules etc for sorting emails. since
the upgrade only my alias is being downloaded which means we are having to
access webmail to retrieve mail addressed to my wife. I have read through the
forums and used the help sections but have not found anything that seems to
deal with this issue. is there someone that can help?

Sounds like you don't have separate aliases but separate mailboxes. In that
case you'll have to add the account for your wife as well.

No they aren't seperate mailboxes Roady. There has only ever been one account
login and all emails are in the same inbox on webmail - as has always been
the case. It is just now Outlook won't download my wife's.

The format of the address is

(e-mail address removed)

with my wife's being

(e-mail address removed)

Then there shouldn't be any difference as Outlook does not do any filtering
out of its own. As you are probably using POP3, everything that is in the
Inbox folder on-line gets downloaded to Outlook.

Do you perhaps have a virus scanner installed which integrates with Outlook
or a 3rd party Junk E-mail filter?
Have you verified that there is no rules configured?

Hi Roady,

Thanks for taking the time on this. I have Kapersky Anti Virus 6.0 for
windows workstations installed. There are no rules configured as far as I can
see and my company have said that becauseit is a personal account they will
not offer any support even though it is a works laptop.
