receiving mail

Cannot receive mail in outlook 2003. The programs just "hangs" and the message is that there are 27 messages waiting and it indicates that only 57B or 33MB have been receive. Was working fine and now I am at a loss. All help is appreciated

Perhaps there's a message waiting for you that is too large or is
corrupted - does your ISP have a webmail feature so you can look at the
mailbox on the server? If not, you could try from www.mail2web.com - see if
anything looks fishy.
