Resources are notoriously optomistic when reporting completion percent and
usually don't understand that it is duration anyway. Far better to ask them
for the amount of time they've spent and what they estimate is still
required until it is complete. As for sending those update requests from
within Project, first of all what version of Project are you using? There
used to be a standard toolbar called the Workgroup tools but as Project
Server matured (such communication is part of the reason for deplaying
Server) it was removed and is no longer supported. There's a workaround
available in the Knowledgebase but it requires some registry changes etc.
