Reconfigure for no e-mail

Juliea

I have Outlook 2000 installed and it is currently
configured for the "Corporate or Workgroup" option. I
would like to change this to "No E-mail", but that option
is grayed out.

How can I do this?

Thank you!

You would first have top switch to Internet Mail Only mode, then remove all
mail accounts.

Calendaring and contacts, primarily, although I use Tasks
sometimes, too. I also like to sync it to my IPAQ. For e-
mail our office uses another program.

Thanks, Russ.

When you say "top switch" I am guessing you mean that I
should go to the reconfiguration wizard and set it up for
Internet Mail Only mode, is that right? (Sorry to be so
dumb, I have just not heard the phrase top switch
before). Then, I would remove all mail accounts, and run
the wizard again but the second time I would select
the "No E-Mail", right?

That makes sense, although I am not sure what to do about
removing all mail accounts since there are presently no
mail accounts set up in Outlook. When I first installed
Outlook, I selected the "No E-Mail" option but somehow it
got installed in the Corporate or Workgroup mode.

That was supposed to be "to switch" not top switch.
No E-mail mode is simply Internet Mail Only with no mail accounts. There is
no similar counterpart in C/W, although removing mail accounts from C/W
would accomplish something similar. What are you trying to achieve?

Simply remove any Email accounts you may have defined in Outlook and it will
not send or receive mail.
