Record limit for .csv files?

Is there a record limit for csv files? I didn't think so, but I can't find
an answer anywhere.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

In what application? There can be a limit in some
programs or some versions of some programs where a
data file could be no larger than 64K, while others
would just continue to process records until it gets
to an end of file condition.

Not for the file type itself. The ability of a particular app to
generate a csv file may have a limit but not the file itself.

Example, older version of excel will only allow 64,000 rows i think.
Under the import/csv utility

Thanks, I was just exporting data, but I guess .csv isn't "owned" by anyone,
so no limit. I was having problems viewing, but I guess that was Notepad.
Thanks!
