Record with voice modem

R

Rich

I'd like to connect my phone line to my voice modem and record conversations
in OneNote using my voice modem as input.
How I can configure OneNote to use my voice modem as input?

I don't know any way to do it with a voice modem, but there are a number
of devices (at least 3 or 4) that you can use to record phone
conversations with your PC (and OneNote). I used to have one or two of
them around here, but since I don't have a landline phone here I stashed
them away somewhere.

Basically they connect your phone to the computer's microphone jack so
that the computer sees the phone handset (both sides of the
conversation) as a microphone and lets you easily record.

why not use voice communication software that came with your modem? Any
retail modem sold on market usually bundled with it.
redirecting specifically to OneNote can be an issue, but software like
"Virtual Audio Cable" shall possibly help.
