Recurring appointment conflict with other appointments on your calendar

Elan

Hi,

When anyone modify the time or content of the master recurring
appointment and send the update, in my calendar I can see 2 entries for
the same appointment.

All the recurring appointments are shown with below error message,

"some instances of this recurring appointment conflict with other
appointments on your calendar"

Outlook version used is 2002. This problem only to all the incoming
recurring appointments.

Calendar items are delegated to another person as well.

Any workaround or solution for this issue.

Many Thanks,
Elan

All the recurring appointments are showing as conflict with other
appointments.

How do we find/view the conflict appointments in OL2002.

Any solution.

Thanks,
Elan

The MS article above will explain why these actions occur with
calendaring. We experience the problem you have quite frequently and
have uncovered one reason why it occurs. Only the "organizer" of the
meeting has any type of "update" capability. If an "attendee" attempts
to change or alter the meeting request at any time the changes will
only be saved to that calendar and sent as a "new" appointment with a
new organizer. So if you are seeing conflicting appointments, it is
due to someone other than the "organizer" updating the meeting request.
In short the "attendee" (with new changes made) is creating a totally
new appointment which is why they become "double-booked" in your
calendar.
