Recurring Tasks appear in the Taskpad

In Taskpad next to my Calendar, I have selected to
view 'Active Tasks for Selected Days', but it seems to
show all my 'Recurring' tasks. When I tick a recurring
task as 'Complete', it generates another task in the
series in my Taskpad.

Is there anyway to stop this i.e. only show the recurring
task in the Taskpad on it's due dates?
