Recurring Tasks - Priority

Bill Bollig

I am trying to create a project based on hours per week for each person per
task. For example, Joe will put in 4 hours per week on task 1 for 26 weeks.
The only way I can figure out to do this is a recurring task. I am just
putting all of Joe's tasks in on Monday and let project do a resource level.
Is this the best way to do this? The priority of a recurring task is 1000
and I manually change it to 500. Sometimes when I remove previous leveling
the priority jumps back to 1000. Is there a way to set the default for a
recurring task to 500?

Hi,

IMHO this is an excellent way to schedule such small interventions.
You can't change the default 1000; however, I have never seen priority "jump
back" once it was changed.
Isn't this a case of not saving the changed priority?
