Red Names appear before Worskpace boots up

Frances, we now have everybody up and running. Yay! Now, we are having a
perplexing but not critical issue with dual red names.

When person A launches her launchbar, she gets a verify idenity for my name.
My name appears twice in red. Click continue advances the toolbar and
everything is hunky dory.

Another person has the same issue with same behavior. The launchbar won't
come on until we confirm the name conflict. Both names are identical - show
the correct email address and are in red.

But everything works otherwise. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Michele -

The red means that there are two Groove accounts with the same name in the
space. This can happen if someone has a problem with their account,
re-installs Groove and uses the same name and gets invited into the same
spaces.

When you are in the space, right-click one of the red names and choose
"Resolve Name Conflict". Click one of them and choose "Alias Contact" and
add an _A or something at the end of the name.

The red will disappear.

The feature was intended for spaces where you might genuinely have two
people with the same name, so you could tell them apart easily by adding an
alias.
