Reduce all selected cells by a percentage...

How do I reduce (or increase) the value of selected cells by a given
percentage?

Assume your selected cells are A1:A10 and you want to increase them by 6%.

In an unused cell, enter 1.06. Copy that cell.

Then select A1:A10 and Paste/Special Multiply

If A1:A10 contains values, the values will be changed.

If A1:A10 contains formulas, the operation will result in:

(your_formula)*1.06

To reduce all cells in a range by 10%

Enter .9 in a cell and copy that cell.

Select your range to reduce then Paste Special(in place)>Multuply>OK>Esc.

To increase by 10% enter 1.1 in a cell and as above.
